l Garlic chicken

Preparation Time: 50 minutes
Ingredients- Chicken - 1 Kg
- Bay leaf - 1 small piece
- Garlic - 50 gram
- Cooking oil - 4 tablespoon
- Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Onion - 1 medium sized
- Coriander leaf - 2 spring
- Red chili - 2 no.
- Coriander powder - 2 teaspoon
- Pepper corns - 5 no.
- Curd - 1 tablespoon
- Garam masala powder - 2 teaspoon
Preparation
- Peel and crush garlic
- Grind onion, coriander leaf, red chili, coriander powder, pepper corns, curd, garam masala powder together to a coarse texture
Cooking
- Heat oil and fry bay leaf, garlic until garlic starts to turn brown
- Add chicken, salt and turmeric powder, mix to coat them evenly with oil
- When water starts to come out from chicken, simmer the flame, cover and cook the chicken
- This will enable chicken to completely infuse with garlic flavor
- Cook the chicken until almost tender, check frequently to avoid sticking to the bottom; sprinkle water (only) if necessary
- Add the ground onion masala and cook until it off raw flavor
- Remove and garnish with fried garlic flakes
Notes
- If you want more of curry, increase the onion and other ingredients to grind accordingly
Wow what a delicious dish. Love it. Garlic chicken is however my fav. Mouth watery dish. Thank u for sharing the recipe of course. Will do prepare for sure.
