Ingredients- Cooking oil - 2 tablespoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Clove - 3 no.
- Cardamon - 2 no.
- Cinnamon stick - small piece
- Onion - 1 medium sized
- Ginger-garlic paste -1 tablespoon
- Red chili powder - 3 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 3 teaspoon
- Garam masala powder - 3 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Mutton - 500 gram
- Tomato - 2 no.
- Curd - 50 ml
- Coriander leaf - 3 spring
- Cut mutton to even size cubes
- Fine chop onions
- Grind Ginger-garlic paste
- Roughly chop tomato and puree them in a mixer/blender
- Heat oil in a thick bottom pan or pressure cooker
- Add spices and temper them
- Add onion and saute them until nicely brown
- Add ginger-garlic paste and fry until off raw flavor
- Add mutton, chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, salt and cook a little
- Pour in tomato puree and allow it to boil
- Add 1/2 cup of water cover and cook for meat is tender (usually it takes around 30-35 minutes/ if you sure about you cooker whistle, follow your regular timing)
- Whisk in curd and heat the gravy further
- Garnish with coriander leaves and/or thin stripes of ginger
