Mangalore prawn curry














Ingredients
  • Prawn -500 gram
  • Salt - to taste
  • Red chili - 6 no.
  • Tamarind extraction - 1 tablespoon
  • Coconut - 1/2, medium sized
  • Tomato - 1 small sized
  • Cooking oil - 2 tablespoon
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1/2 tablespoon
  • Red chili - 2 no.
  • Curry leaf - 2 spring
  • Asafotide - 2 pinch
Preparation
  • Shell, de-vien, clean prawns; sprinkle some salt on them
  • Grind tamarind, red chilies, tomato and coconut
Cooking
  • Heat oil, add prawn and saute slightly
  • Add Ginger-garlic paste, curry leaf, asafoetida
  • Pour in the ground masala, add some water, cook the curry until the masalas cooked completely, until off raw flavor

  • The recipe is same for Manglore fish curry
