- Bread - 4 Slices
- Oil - for frying
- Milk - 300 ml
- Cardamon - 4 no.
- Condensed milk - 8 Spoon
- Sugar - 8 spoon
- Pistachio - 6 no.
- Almond - 6 no.
Preparation
- Trim the crust of the bread
- Cut diagonally to a triangle shape
Cooking
- Deep fry bread until brown
- Boil milk in a thick bottomed pan
- Simmer to reduce at least 70% of its original volume
- Add sugar, cardamon pods, condensed milk and heat further
- Arrange fried bread in a tray
- Pour the milk mixture over it
- Garnish with thinly sliced, roasted nuts
Notes
- Toast the bread crisper, if you don't want to deep fry them
- Shallow fry in ghee instead of oil, this will give a rich flavor
- Serve cold or hot as preferred
- Cut breads to small cubes instead of triangle and serve in small cups/bowl for a change
