Ingredients
  • Bread - 4 Slices
  • Oil - for frying
  • Milk - 300 ml
  • Cardamon - 4 no.
  • Condensed milk - 8 Spoon
  • Sugar - 8 spoon
  • Pistachio - 6 no.
  • Almond - 6 no.
Preparation
  • Trim the crust of the bread
  • Cut diagonally to a triangle shape
Cooking
  • Deep fry bread until brown
  • Boil milk in a thick bottomed pan
  • Simmer to reduce at least 70% of its original volume
  • Add sugar, cardamon pods, condensed milk and heat further
  • Arrange fried bread in a tray
  • Pour the milk mixture over it
  • Garnish with thinly sliced, roasted nuts
Notes
  • Toast the bread crisper, if you don't want to deep fry them
  • Shallow fry in ghee instead of oil, this will give a rich flavor
  • Serve cold or hot as preferred 
  • Cut breads to small cubes instead of triangle and serve in small cups/bowl for a change
