Blanching tomato

Blanching is allowing tomato to short heat treatment, which will enable us to remove it skin easily

Steps
  • Boil water in a pan
  • Remove the steam on top and roughly slit the skin of the tomatoes from top to bottom
  • Put it in boiling water for two minutes
  • Remove, dip (put) in cold water 
  • Using a sharp knife, now you can easily peel the skin

An alternative way to remove skin is:

Grilling
  • Roughly slit the skin of the tomatoes from top to bottom
  • Pierce it in long handle knife or skewer 
  • Grill it in direct flame evenly by turning them
  • Dip in cold water
  • Using a sharp knife, now you can easily peel the skin
